It’s rare these days to find a space where people feel comfortable both talking and listening. But guest June LeFeber says that Kathy’s House is a place has that unique ability to bring people together.

“It starts with Kathy’s House,” she says. “Whenever I talk to anybody that lives here, I feel like they’re so open. I think that’s because Kathy’s House has that feeling. It makes it ok to talk to everybody.”

June’s month-long stay as caregiver for her brother Wesley has given her plenty of time to get comfortable – and to create a welcoming environment for others. “We get up in the morning, and we come down here and have coffee in our pajamas and talk with people,” she says. “The welcome is definitely felt by the families that come live here.”
